FOR PARENTS:
Before the parent interview is conducted, parents are required to read Christopher Perrin’s booklet titled “An Introduction to Classical Education”, Geneva’s Foundational Beliefs and Our Different Approach to Technology. These documents are provided below and will be discussed during the Parent Interview.
We also encourage parents to read Dorothy Sayers’ “The Lost Tools of Learning.” The discovery of this essay is credited with leading to the development of the classical and Christian schooling movement.
FOR STUDENTS:
Applicants to grades 8 and above are required to read “Why Geneva? A Rhetoric School Overview” to learn more about what it looks like to be a student at Geneva. We ask that applicants complete the required reading prior to scheduling their Preview Day to make the most of their time on campus.
