Geneva School of Boerne is proud to announce that senior Juliana Flores was named a National Merit Finalist. Students honored each year by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) represent less than one percent of high school seniors in the United States. Finalists are judged based on their combination of academic skills and achievements, extracurricular accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
Over two million students took the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last October and entered the National Merit Programs, a nationwide competition for the recognition and awards conducted by the NMSC.
Additionally, Juliana in Geneva School of Boerne’s Valedictorian and was recognized by College Board as a Rural and Small-Town Scholar and Hispanic Scholar and was designated an AP Scholar with Honors. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Geneva’s award-winning Juliana has been accepted to The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University and Penn State University, and is awaiting admissions decisions from several universities before she decides her plans for next year.
