What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read is Silence. This book made me realize how fortunate we are to live in a place and go to a school where we can worship freely. I will never take that for granted!
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva has to be cheering alongside people that have become my best friends over the years! I wouldn’t trade Friday Night Lights for anything!
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss my closest teachers the most at Geneva. Many of my teachers have walked alongside me through some of the best times of my life. They will always have a special place in my heart.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
The most influential teacher at Geneva has been Mr. Arizpe. He has been not only an amazing teacher but has guided me through all the good and bad times of my life. He will always be a huge part of my life!
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student to me means treating everyone with the respect and love that each person deserves. Geneva has made me who I am today and for that I am grateful!
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
I would encourage Geneva kindergartners to love yourself, and always try to love others first. Listen to Mrs. Gombert… you may not understand it, but she always knows best.
If you could change anything at Geneva, what would it be?
I hope the feelings of Geneva being the closest thing to home never changes. I hope the closeness that students and teachers have remains the same forever.
