What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
Silence is the most influential book I read because it gave me perspective on how seriously some people are persecuted. It gave me a new perspective of how blessed I am to live in a country where I’m free to be a Christian.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
The funniest moment at Geneva was when Mrs. Greenlees fell over the hay bale. Shortly after she tripped on the famous hay bale, everyone went quiet. After she got up everyone laughed and cheered.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss the people the most when I leave. I have met so many amazing friends and brothers at this school. I hope to cherish our friendships and maintain them all my life.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
I would say Mr.Arizipe has influenced me the most at Geneva. He has been a consistent teacher that I can always open up or go talk to no matter the issue. He has set a perfect example of what it looks like to be a christian man.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student Is special to me because I am apart of a close-knitted community of Christ believers and people that push each other in an amazing way.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartener to persevere in school?
I would tell them to make school fun don’t dread it everyday. Instead of thinking that school is a drag change your thought process and maybe think about getting to see your friends everyday.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope that Football and the rich culture behind it never changes. Football is a big part of school spirit and community. Friday night lights brings friends and family together making Geneva have a stronger bond.
