What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read besides the Bible is the Lord of the Rings. It is influential because it gives life lessons and teaches about the journey of life. It is also a great fantasy book in general.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva was beating Brentwood in football my junior year. We were down 28-7 at the half, and we came back to win that game. It was a really fun and cool experience.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss the close-knit community the most when I leave Geneva. I have had many good relationships here because of Geneva’s size. I will definitely miss being able to talk to all my friends throughout the day.
Who influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
Mr. Naiser has influenced me the most while at Geneva. He has taught me many things about my faith and helped me grow as a believer. He also showed me how to have childlike wonder.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means I have the opportunity to learn many different skills. I have learned a lot from playing sports, whether on the football field or on the basketball court. I also have the ability to learn from all the great teachers at Geneva.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
I would encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school by making the most of your time. School is hard, but you can always look forward to the end goal. Be present in the moment and do the work because it will prepare you for the next part of your life.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the Geneva student-teacher relationship never changes. It is nice to have less students in a class so it’s a more personal experience. It’s also good to be able to have friends as your teachers.
