What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book that I’ve read besides the Bible is Mere Christianity because it has really helped me to understand my faith more deeply and to know how I should live that out better.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva is the State Volleyball tournament because of all the fun memories I made! I met Chip Gaines, stayed in a fixer upper, ate lots of fun food, and grew so much closer to the girls on my team.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss Geneva’s family-like community and culture of accountability, love, and fellowship the most when I leave for college.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
Mr. Naiser has influenced me the most for his Childlike Wonder and amazing love that he showed all of us unconditionally throughout his class.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means to stand firm in my beliefs and to honor God through self-accountability, no matter the situation.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere?
I would encourage a Geneva kindergartener to be grateful and joyful; whether it is in doing homework or playing at recess because many kids don’t have the same opportunities we do.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope that the “no phones“ rule never changes because I never would have grown so close to my friends as now if we were glued to our devices all day. It also has opened me up to see opportunities to show love to someone else that I wouldn’t have noticed if my phone was the center of attention.
