Geneva sophomore outside hitter Karynn Garrow earned TAPPS Second Team All-State Honors in Geneva’s inaugural 5A season. Though Geneva had a shortened season with only 17 matches, Karynn recorded 317 kills, 183 digs, 6 blocks and 36 aces.
“In her first two years at Geneva, Rynn has been a powerhouse for us. She’s had 803 kills, 476 digs and 96 aces. She’s received All-State honors both years. Rynn is incredibly talented, but she’s also coachable, respectful, hard-working and a great teammate, which is why I am confident she will go far and have great success in her career,” varsity volleyball coach Shelly Vaughn said.
Coach Vaughn added that “Geneva is grateful they got to have a volleyball season during this rough year and are looking forward to a longer season in 2021.”
