What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I’ve read is Faith by CS Lewis. It is a compilation of all his thoughts on faith and it has given me a firm understanding of my own faith.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
Any soccer tournament has to be either my favorite or funniest moments at Geneva. Any time we would go to one it would always be a good time because I like being with my teammates.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I’m going to miss the teachers the most. Every teacher is unique in their own way, and that is one of my favorite things about Geneva.
Who influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
Mr. Odom has influenced me the most at Geneva. I’ve had him as a teacher since sixth grade, and he has seen me grow up. We have spent so much time around each other, and he has influenced me on a positive way.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a student at Geneva means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and a lifelong learner.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
I would tell a kindergartner that it will only get easier the harder you work. This means that if you don’t put in enough effort, you won’t receive the result you hoped for.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the culture between the teachers and students never changes at Geneva. We have a unique opportunity to grow a relationship with every teacher.
