Geneva School of Boerne is proud to announce that 20 juniors and seniors earned recognition from the College Board for their academic accomplishments on the 2023 Preliminary SAT. These programs celebrate students’ hard work in high school and showcase their strong academic performance.

Geneva students who earned College Board National Small Town and Rural Recognition for 2023 include: seniors Micah Briggs, Luke Brunsvold, Sofi Treviño, Lillian Hendershot, Emma Malkowski, Griffin Miller, Hannah Reyes, Jake Roberson and John Walter as well as juniors Noah Brunsvold, Brady Chandler, Teagan Fikes, Michael Heiny, Luke Horton, Audrey Lapacka, Sopris Oglesby, Logan Reyes, Siena Svendsen and Jonathan Taylor.

Four Geneva students earned College Board National Hispanic Recognition including seniors Sofi Treviño, Raquel Moerdyk and Hannah Reyes as well as junior Michael Heiny.

Students are considered for the Rural and Small Town Recognition Program based on the location of their high school. Areas are considered rural and small town based on location data from the National Center for Education Statistics. To be selected, students must score in the top 2.5% on the PSAT/NMSQT among high school junior test takers in their region. In addition, students are selected to participate in the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) when they score in the top 2.5% on the PSAT/NMSQT among all Hispanic and Latino test-takers in each region.
