Geneva School of Boerne recently inducted 27 new members into the school’s chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) bringing the total membership to 62. Students earning this honor showed accomplishments in leadership, character, scholarship and service.
Susan Greenlees, the Geneva NHS sponsor, encouraged the new members to enter with enthusiasm and, as an organization, to encourage and help fan that flame for one another for a refreshed spirit and vision for what God gives them to do through their leadership and service in the Boerne community and at Geneva. Each member is expected to pursue excellence in academics, lead with character and humility, while helping with ongoing projects at Geneva as well as to perform 25 hours of outside community service throughout the year.
Greenlees is excited for the new group and how they will impact this community. She admonished them to be authentic and deliberate in how they represent themselves and our Lord in this community.
The new inductees include: Victoria Allen, John Kelley Chisholm, Jack Walker Harden, Mandy Mills, Raquel Moerdyk, Kyra Petty, Hannah Reyes, Payton Boles, Noah Brunsvold, Abigail Bussey, Elle Chalmers, Samuel Crews, Harper Deimund, Maggie Deimund, Luke Horton, Sopris Oglesby, Ella Grace Owens, Joshua Patteson, Caroline Pickle, Mary Simpson, Reese Smith, Siena Svendsen, Emrey Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, Christian Vis and Reid Wilson.
