Geneva Grammar School students in kindergarten through fifth grades were challenged to discover and graph information over the summer as part of the annual Grammar School Summer Math Challenge. Students were asked to create graphs to represent data, review their mathematical skills and record their minutes. This voluntary challenge had 205 students logging practice time over the summer totaling a new school record of 212,481 minutes.
Each participating student was recognized at the Summer Awards Math Assembly where bronze, silver or gold medals were given according to the amount of time they spent practicing. Fourth grade student Drew Green was recognized for completing 3,674 minutes over the summer.
