Geneva School of Boerne Rhetoric School art students competed last fall in the TAPPS Fall Photo Contest. Three students received recognition for their submitted photography. Over 1,500 student and faculty entries were received from 49 TAPPS schools.

 In the Landscape/Scenic Category, sophomore Rebekah Burkhart placed first for her piece titled “Misty Afternoon on the Kenai Fjords.” Junior Joshua Patteson placed third for his piece titled “Lonely Lunchtime” and junior Sopris Oglesby received honorable mention.

 Two additional photos submitted by Patteson received honorable mention in the Nature Category. Patteson and Burkhart each received honorable mention for photographs submitted in the Cityscape/Architecture Category. Oglesby placed first and third in the Environmental Portrait Category for two untitled pieces.

Sophomore Rebekah Burkhart placed first in the Landscape/Scenic Category at the 2024 TAPPS 4A Fall Photo Contest for her photograph titled “Misty Afternoon on the Kenai Fjords.”

“Lonely Lunchtime” by junior Joshua Patteson earned third place in the Landscape/Scenic Category at the 2024 TAPPS 4A Fall Photo Contest.

Junior Sopris Oglesby placed first in the Environmental Portrait Category at the 2024 TAPPS 4A Fall Photo Contest for her untitled photograph of a beach scene.
