Geneva School of Boerne sophomore Megan Luffy competed Saturday, April 27, at the VASE State Art Contest in San Marcos. Two pieces of Megan’s artwork were selected at the Regional Contest in February to proceed to the state level competition. Both pieces received highest honors of “4” at State.
“This is a great honor as it is an enormous public-school contest with over 3,000 entries from all over Texas and only ten percent go to state. These works of Megan’s art began with a great reference photo enhanced by her love and insight as a fine artist,” Advanced Art Instructor Cathy Lester said.
