Ella Babic, senior at Geneva School of Boerne, was selected as the Top Leader at the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) at Texas Wesleyan University. YLC attendees receive patriotic education, including elements of leadership needed to maintain a free society, concepts of a free enterprise system, and the founding principles upon which the United States was built. Students also develop leadership and public speaking skills that help them be better citizens and future leaders.
Col. Norm Wells (USAF, ret.), Commander of MOWW Hill Country Chapter, presented a Bronze Patrick Henry medal to Ella at the YLC Reception to recognize her achievement and will recognize her again at the next Hill Country chapter meeting in September.
