Geneva School of Boerne announces that Jeff Jones has decided to step down as the Logic School Headmaster to pursue other career opportunities. Jones came to Geneva in 2017 to give leadership to the faculty, staff and students in sixth through eighth grades. He provided much needed support as the school has gone through the upheaval caused by social polarization, the COVID crisis and the student health and wellness subsequent aftereffects.
“We are incredibly grateful for Jeff’s service to this institution and its families. Schools across the country have been trying to reset after the trends of the last few years. There’s been a tremendous amount of pressure on educational administrators to adapt. Jeff worked hard in the trenches behind the scenes to help hold things together. His 20 years of experience in classical Christian education, steadfast loyalty and overall love for Geneva as a headmaster will be missed,” Head of School Dr. David Corbin said.
The Jones family will remain a big part of the larger Geneva community. Jones’ wife, Autumn Jones, will continue to serve and teach students in theatre arts and drama, and their children will continue as students at GSB this fall.
“I trust that God has a good plan for the next Logic School headmaster and I will give a leadership update soon. I wish Jeff God’s good providence in his future endeavors,” Corbin said.
