Geneva School of Boerne Rhetoric students competed at the TAPPS 4A State Art Competition in Waco March 24-26 where they placed third overall.

Senior Jacob Goodman earned first place in the Computer Rendered Art category for his piece Old Bones. Junior Megan Luffy won first place for her piece entitled Nosy Neighbor in the Mixed Media category, second place in Onsite Drawing, third place in Seek and Sketch and fourth place for her acrylic painting The Fall. Junior Joshua Patteson won second place in the Color Photography category for his work titled Balancing Rock. Sophomore Caleb Sehlke earned third place for his color pencil drawing The Art of Loyalty. Sophomores Bekah Burkhart and Maya Thomson placed second and fourth place respectively in Art History.
