What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I’ve read has to be Silence. It provided some really interesting conversations during class and forced me to really think about what I’d do for my faith.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My freshman year it had rained the night before St. Crispin’s day. We were eating lunch on bleachers and I saw a bee so I tried to get away from it and I fell all the way off the bleachers and into a big puddle.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I’ll miss the community of Geneva the most. Even if you aren’t good friends with some of the people here, there’s always friendly faces and people who genuinely want to help you out.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
Mr. Vis has influenced me the most. He has always been so kind and genuinely cares about his students. He’s helped me become more confident and outgoing and I’ll miss him so much.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means showing kindness and being a good example to everyone.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
Figure out how to study as soon as possible. Once you figure out how you remember material the best, studying really isn’t that big of a deal anymore and school will be MUCH less stressful. don’t study the night before.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope Geneva keeps all its wonderful traditions. Western homecoming, induction day, jogathon, etc. it’s what keeps Geneva unique from all the other schools and it’s so special.
