What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
Silence is the most influential book I have read. It made me dig deeper in my faith and made me realize how grateful I am that I can worship God openly without fear of persecution.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moments at Geneva were when my sister Hailey Hubenak and I would get coffee and jam out to music in the car before school started.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I am going to miss the fun events Geneva has to offer. The musical, induction day, powderpuff, and quidditch are a few of my favorites.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
Mr. Poole once said this, “When you get to Heaven would you rather God say, ‘I never knew you’ or ‘well done my good and faithful servant’?” This has stuck with me since and has motivated me to live like Jesus in every way I can.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means living out my Christian faith where I can work hard for the glory of God.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
I would say work hard now so you can play later. If you focus and work really hard in school, you can have fun later in life when the work pays off.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
The one thing I hope never changes about Geneva is the boardwalk. It allows us to not be inside all day. Being able to eat outside with a breeze and fresh air is something I would never change.
