Geneva School of Boerne is proud to announce that three seniors earned recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Claire Coultress was named National Merit Semifinalist. William Muck and Susanna Nilsson were named National Merit Commended Scholars. These students achieved these awards for their academic accomplishments on the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Claire Coultress is the daughter of Julie and Russell Coultress; William Muck is the son of Kelly and Andrew Muck and Susanna Nilsson is the daughter of Lisa and Joel Nilsson. All three students are from Boerne. These students are members of the 2024 Senior Class which will be the 14th class to graduate from Geneva. This is also the 14th consecutive Senior Class at Geneva School of Boerne to have members earning National Merit recognition.

We are thankful to have a rich history of National Merit scholars at Geneva and celebrate their academic accomplishments which put them among the top ranked students in the nation,” Geneva Rhetoric School Headmaster Matt Donnowitz said.
Over 1.3 million students took the PSAT last October and entered the National Merit Programs, a nationwide competition for the recognition and awards conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Nationally, 16,000 students were named Semifinalists and 34,000 were named Commended Students.
