What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read is Brave New World. It shocked me at first, but through further reading and in-class discussions, I was able to gain value from it and it led me to think a lot about our world and where we may be in the future.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva is playing and singing music with friends in the morning before school and during lunch. My funniest moment would have to be when I came onto the stage late during “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and Jack Swanson and I had to improvise our lines.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
What I will miss most about Geneva is the conversations with teachers and the outdoor campus.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
The person who has influenced me the most is Dr. Rosheger. His class and our conversations helped me during the harder days and made me smile even more on the good ones.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
To me being a Geneva student means my classmates, teachers, and I approach education with the goal to reach greatness in order to be a light to others.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere?
I would tell a kindergartener to persevere in school because it’s not only fun, but you learn life skills by going to school that you will use throughout your life.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the freedom never changes. The freedom to be yourself, stand up for your beliefs, have friendship with teachers, all of it. I hope that stays the same.
