What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
I found Silence by Shūsaku Endō to be an influential novel in my life because of the powerful themes of endurance through religious persecution and faithfulness even in God’s silence.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
Even though it was disgusting, and the room wreaked for weeks, I will never forget the time when a jug of chocolate milk was left in Mr. Johnson’s room over Christmas break causing it to spoil and explode.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
When I leave, I will miss being an AIM buddy to the Grammar School kids and I will really miss the magazine and all the creative and fun people on staff.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
Besides my mom, Mrs. Lester has always been an inspiration to me. She has influenced me to pursue creativity, to find the beauty in everything and to create artwork to the glory of our own Creator.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
To me, being a Geneva student means being a good steward of the talents and abilities that God has gifted you.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere?
Be nice. Get lots of sleep. Drink plenty of water. Always encourage each other. Remember to have fun.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope that Geneva will always teach from a biblical worldview.
