What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read besides the Bible is Amusing Ourselves to Death by Neil Postman. This book has been influential because it has changed my perception on how the media is only focused on entertainment rather than the truth.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
My favorite moment at Geneva was when lightning struck down a tree right outside Mr. Harrild’s classroom. There is no tree there anymore.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
I will miss playing football for my school. The brotherhood of the football team is unique, and I will miss it for sure.
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva, How?
Mr. Naiser has influenced me the most. Mr. Naiser has a special aura around him that is filled with the Holy Spirit that has influenced me to become a better man.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
It means that you are part of something bigger than yourself. We are only at Geneva for a small part of our life but it has been the most influential time of all.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere?
I would encourage a kindergartener by telling them that God puts hard things in your life to make you tougher. God has a plan: be patient, kind, and keep your desire to learn.
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope the school spirit never changes. The feeling at pep rallies and sporting events is non-replicable.
