5What is the most influential book you have read besides the Bible? Why?
The most influential book I have read is from my junior year, the book Silence. Silence showed me how to put myself in a position to be able to hear from God when he speaks and how to realize that His plan may not look the way I feel that it should.
What is your favorite or funniest moment at Geneva?
The funniest moment at Geneva was when Mr. Johnson told Luke to wake up from sleeping in class. Luke didn’t think anyone knew he was asleep because he was wearing reflective sunglasses.
What will you miss most when you leave Geneva?
The thing I will miss the most about Geneva will be the football team and the atmosphere that it brings to our school. I will love these brothers for life and I will miss them the most!
Who has influenced you most while at Geneva? How?
The person that has influenced me the most would have to be Coach Wright. She has showed me how to work smart instead of just working hard.
What does being a Geneva student mean to you?
Being a Geneva student means that I am confident to speak in public settings and I am a part of a family for life.
How would you encourage a Geneva kindergartner to persevere in school?
I would encourage a Geneva kindergartner that their hard work will pay off! I would tell them that it’s worth putting in the time now and learning the simple skills of how to study. The skills they are developing now will pay dividends in the future!
What about Geneva do you hope never changes?
I hope that the culture of a healthy mix between respecting your peers while still helping them learn to have tough skin will never change.
