Seventh graders put their dancing practice into action at the annual Cotillion Dinner and Dance in the school’s Multi-Purpose Building last Saturday night.
Geneva seventh grade students learn manners and social graces as part of the Cotillion curriculum each spring. They practice a variety of dances with instructors Kirsten Burkholder and Morgan Brown.
“The Cotillion curriculum helps students understand proper etiquette in a variety of situations while assisting in the cultivation and development of positive relationships, respect, self-esteem, poise, self-confidence and the assurance of knowing the proper way to conduct themselves in different social situations,” Geneva Logic School Headmaster Jeff Jones said.
The curriculum culminates in a Cotillion Dinner and Dance each year in the school’s Multi-Purpose Building.
